"The above ten courses on twelve bells contains 7008 changes which was rung by the Society of College Youths on Wednesday, 10 March, 1784, at St. Saviors, Southwark, being the greatest extent ever performed in that method, which was performed in six hours and five minutes, and by twelve men only, notwithstanding the tneor is upwards of 52cwt."
