Published in Bell News 13th May 1893, page 4. 24-part peals such as these are not possible in Grandsire Triples when using only the usual calls (though a well-known block for a 24-part has been adapted and used by composers like Pitman, Parker, and Price to produce 8-parts and 4-part 5040s of Grandsire.) Peals of Grandsire on the 3-lead course plan are sometimes described as 24-parts, though they are in fact 120-parts. It is nice to see that a 'genuine' 24-part 5040 is possible for Union
